چکیده

Purpose: analysis of foreign practices in the use treated household wastewater irrigation reclamation. The usage is widespread regions with a shortage water resources, as well an arid climate. These are India, Italy, France, Spain, Israel, Jordan, USA, Poland, Africa, Central, South and Southeast Asia (Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Indonesia Vietnam). Discussions. Currently, there significant increase volume, for agricultural production common practice throughout world. In Europe, 964 million m³/year used agriculture, 347 Spain 233 Italy. reuse Latin America confirmed by presence large areas irrigated both purified unpurified wastewater. When irrigating vegetable crops Middle East countries, development pathogenic organisms that pose threat to human health was not observed. Conclusion. solves problem shortage, their utilization, has positive effect on soil physical chemical characteristics, plant growth development, helps reduce cost crop 10–20 %, which decisive argument favor irrigation. Besides, reclamation, saves from 25 50 % nitrogen phosphorus fertilizers increases yields 15–27 compared ordinary water.

Opportunities for woody crop production using treated wastewater in Egypt. II. Irrigation strategies.

An Egyptian national program targets annual reuse of 2.4 billion m3 of treated wastewater (TWW) to irrigate 84,000 ha of manmade forests in areas close to treatment plants and in the desert. To evaluate the feasibility of such afforestation efforts, we describe information about TWW irrigation strategies based on (1) water use of different tree species, (2) weather conditions in different clima...
